What a fickle, fickle world sport can be.
Anyone who remembers the hit TV show 'Dream Team' will recall Harchester United's imperious striker Karl Fletcher, who refused to play for the side at one point and demanded a transfer.
A move to Barcelona was on his radar for a short spell, but it didn't work out.
West Ham's Dimitri Payet has found himself in a similar situation. The french player no longer wants to play for the club but they are reluctant to sell him. He signed a new contract with West Ham last year, which ties him to the club until 2021.
Payet's protest has not gone unnoticed by the fans and they have responded by rewording the famous 'We've Got Payet' song. Naturally, the new lyrics convey their disapproval at Payet's refusal to represent the Hammers.
Spoiler alert: It's laced with expletives.

Meanwhile, the staff at West Ham are keeping guard of the images of Payet around the ground, to ensure no belligerent fans interfere with them.
