After an injury-ravaged few years after a phenomenal start to his professional career at Arsenal, Jack Wilshere is trying to rebuild his reputation on loan at Bouremouth.
While he is likely to see significant game-time in the Premier League this season after the deadline move, BT Sports pundit and Manchester United legend Paul Scholes isn't 100% sure it was the right move for the midfielder.
"I just worry a little bit that he's set his sights too low," said Scholes, who also added that Wilshere is not guaranteed game-time.
Indeed, he feels that Roma could have been a club he could have gone to given that the Serie A side had shown interest.
"I'd like to have seen him, if he had to leave Arsenal, to go to a big club like a Roma, get some experience abroad. I think that would have been great for him ."
