Barack Obama's sporting prowess is well advertised, and it looks like his golf game may now be better than his basketball one. 

The American President is currently on holiday in his native Hawaii, where he regularly spends time on the islands' golf courses. When playing with friends at the Mid-Pacific Country Club earlier this week, he finished his round with a 40-foot chip on front of the assembled media.

The left-hander took the acclaim of the gallery as if he had just won a major championship on a Sunday afternoon.
