Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reiterated his desire to keep Theo Walcott at the club after his hat-trick in a staggering 7-3 victory against Newcastle in the Premier League.

The Gunners and the England international are to resume talks about a new contract in January.

Describing the forward as an "intelligent player" Wenger says there is more to come from Walcott.
