Werder Bremen want to bring Chelsea's Kevin De Bruyne back on loan in January.

The Belgian spent last season at the Bundesliga side, and was not in the squad for the Champions League win over Steaua Bucharest.

When questioned why, Jose Mourinho walked out of his pre-match news conference.

Bremen's general manager told German newspaper Bild that they are being kept informed about the situation by De Bruyne's agent.

The Belgian was told to train with the Under-21 squad for this week because Mourinho was said to be infuriated with his performance in the Capital One Cup last week.
