Tiger Woods is on course to win the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio as he maintained his 7 shot lead through the third round

Woods is on 15 under for the tournament, leading Henrik Stenon who sits 7 shots back on 8 under.

Rory McIlroy enjoyed something of a revival of his fortunes, as he shot his first under par round since early June, with a 69. McIlroy is now level par for the weekend and level with Phil Mickelson in 17^th spot.

Graeme McDowell is on 3 over, while Shane Lowry is on 8 over.
