This month's book special sees Patrick Geoghegan talk with the authors of some very interesting new history books.
Opening the show is Bill Schutt talking about his fascinating history of cannibalism
Dr Heather Jones then takes Patrick through the late Valerie Jones' wonderful account of the protestants who were involved in 1916
This is followed up by Carol Dyhouse's history of women and desire and Ben Kane's fictional account of a Roman legionnaire deep in hostile tribal Germany
Wrapping up the show is Owen Davies talking about magic and witchcraft and James Whitman's exploration of how Hitler took inspiration from the American race laws
