One of the most well-known features of West Ham Football Club is their club song I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles.
But there is an interesting story behind the song which goes beyond England in more ways than one and reaches back to the early 20th Century.
And it seems likely that the song was inspired by another Football League club.
Liverpool’s You'll Never Walk Alone is another example of an iconic official club anthem, but on Team 33 we decided to look at other examples from Hibernian, Roma, Sevilla and Millwall and the interesting contrast of stories behind their official songs.
