Bar a few clear-cut cases, sometimes it is unclear whether sacking a manager is the right thing to do for a football club.
But certainly many dismissals seem scarcely deserved. This week on Team 33, Joe, Dan, Derek and Conor picked out some of the sackings which seem least merited in the Premier League era including Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, Avram Grant also at the London club, George Burley at Hearts, Sam Allardyce at Blackburn and Mark Hughes at Manchester City among others.
