The man who wrote Donald Trump's biography says the presidential hopeful "doesn't respect women".
Michael D'Antonio - the author of The Truth About Trump - claims that in his nicest moment Trump is 'oblivious to others'.
Speaking to Newstalk Drive, Mr D'Antonio says Trump embodies everything that's wrong with this generation.
"Donald is kind of the ultimate expression of the very worst of what our society has been hurtling towards for 30 years," he argued.
"This is the baby boomer, 'me' generation - self obsessed [and] extreme," he explained, adding that "in some moments it can be dazzling and exciting."
Today, the Republican presidential candidate is campaigning in Florida, which is a key battleground state in next week's election.
It comes as he took the lead in one national US presidential poll giving him a slender one point advantage of 46% to 45% over Mrs Clinton.
However, his rival still leads in most other opinion polls, both national and state, though by a significantly reduced margin.
Mr Trump told a rally in Miami this morning: "This isn't about me - it's about all of you and our magnificent movement to make America great again."
