Today’s Saturday Panel on Off the Ball featured some familiar faces and voices. We have Alain Rolland, rugby referee and former Ireland international scrum half, in studio, along with Conor Deegan, former Down footballer, and Vincent Hogan, chief sports writer with the Irish Independent.

On the agenda today was Michael D. Higgins in England – and the nature of Ireland’s sporting relationship with our nearest neighbours – getting over a bad experience and the Irish interest in what the rest of the world thinks of the Irish nation.
