Sarah’s Law in the UK allows parents, guardians and carers of children to ask police to inform them if someone that might have access to their children has a record of child sexual offences.

This coming Friday independent td Denis Naughten will bring a bill to the Dail that proposes to introduce a law in a similar spirit to Sarah’s Law in Ireland.

Denis Naughten is an Independent TD from Roscommon and South Leitrim, and he joined Pat in studio this morning.
