For the past decade Emily O’Reilly has held the position of Ombudsman. It has been her responsibility to investigate complaints from members of the public who feel they need an independent investigation into their complaints regarding certain public bodies.

Tomorrow the office of the Ombudsman will publish details of Ombudsman O’Reilly’s final annual report, including an update on her investigations, the extension of her remit and a reflection of her experience over the last 10 years.

Pat welcomed Emily O’Reilly into the studio this morning and talked to her about her career over the last 10 years.
