The family of a woman with Alzheimer's who died after she went missing last month believe she would still be alive if gardaí had used blood hounds to search for her.
65-year-old Peggy Mangan went missing on September 24th after taking her dog for a walk.
Her body was found five days later in north Dublin at the Ballymun Road, along with her dog Casper by her side.
There had been previous reported sightings of her in north Dublin.
Various appeals were made for information, and CCTV footage was also released in an effort to find her.
Her daughters say gardaí only had access to general dogs that were not expert trackers.
Daughters Louise and Orla told The Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk that their mother might still be alive if blood hounds had been used to search for her as soon as her disappearance was reported.
