A fourth date has been added for Garth Brooks' comeback special.

July 28th has now been confirmed as the fourth date - with tickets for the gig going on sale this Thursday at 9am.

The fourth date has been announced after almost a quarter of a million tickets for the first three summer Croke Park gigs sold out in just 90 minutes, leaving thousands disappointed.

The resale value of the tickets jumped enormously in the days that followed, with some passes being offered on eBay for €500.

Garth told Newstalk he was 'humbled and stunned' by the demand for his shows and he said he's looking forward to the concerts because he knows his Irish fans will know every word of every song.
