A woman who describes herself as being in a relationship with convicted murderer Graham Dwyer has been banned form visiting him in prison.
Victoria Andreenkova is originally from Russia but living in Dublin.
It is believed she was visiting the Midlands Prison about once or twice a week, and had also exchanged letters with Dwyer.
The letters had suggested the two were in a relationship together.
Then on June 3rd, her Facebook relationship status was apparently changed from 'single' to 'in a relationship'.
However, she has now been removed from an approved list of visitors because of the way she has been dressing when visiting.
Dwyer received a life sentence for the murder of Dublin childcare worker Elaine O'Hara. The architect was convicted at the Central Criminal Court in March.
Crime correspondent with the Irish Daily Star, Michael O'Toole, has met with Ms Andreenkova.
"She said that he was a soft and tender man and she has seen a different side of him," he said.
As to why she was banned from visiting, "It was the Prison Service - they were unhappy at the way she was dressing while she was visiting Dwyer".
"The suggestion from sources we were speaking to last night was that Dwyer asked her to dress in a certain way" O'Toole said.
He told the Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk this could have larger implications for Dwyer and his case.
