An international search is now underway for the parents of a four year old girl known as Maria found living at a gypsy camp in central Greece.

Authorities believe the child may have been taken from a family in northern Europe.

A man and a woman will appear in court this afternoon charged with her abduction. 

The discovery of Maria has offered renewed hope in the search for missing children internationally including the family of Ben Needham.

Ben was just 21 months old when he vanished from the Greek island of Kos in 1991.

It has now been revealed that investigators hunting for Ben were led to the same place that Maria was found.
