The S6 Edge has curved glass on both sides - meaning the phone's screen wraps around and meets the back of the device. Internally the S6 and Edge have upgraded spec on the S5 including faster processor, incredibly fast, high-res camera and quicker battery charging.

With these add-ons came one big change to the body of the phone. Users will no longer be able to remove the battery or insert a mirco SD card. Samsung fans may find this a big change when moving to the S6 but executives addressed this worry on stage at the launch. They explained that the battery on the S6 is so good that users will not have to worry about replacing it.

Samsung CEO JK Shin said the S6 lasts up to 12 hours on WiFi and charges "faster than any other smarthphone in the industry".
