The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is criticising the seven year suspended sentence handed down to a man convicted of raping his girlfriend.
Niamh Nic Dhomhnaill waived her right to anonymity so Magnuse Meyer-Hustveit could be publicly identified.
The Norwegian man (25) had e-mailed his victim, and admitted to sexually assaulting her on a regular basis while she slept.
In her victim impact statement, Ms Nic Dhomhnaill said she suffers "memory loss, anxiety, anger and panic".
She told Newstalk Breakfast earlier that she does not feel justice was done.
While Ellen O'Malley-Dunlop of the Dublin Rape Crisis says just because Hustveit admitted the crime, it does not lessen its seriousness.
She told the Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk this is not a good precedent for others in a similar situation.
