The second annual Dublin Beatles Festival was held at the weekend in a number of venues across the city and we sent Luke O'Neill along to check it out. 

Luke met Steve Kennedy, the man behind the festival and he explained the origins of the festival. On November 7th 1963 The Beatles came to Dublin. Steve decided to mark the 50th anniversary of this visit by hosting the first Dublin Beatles Festival.

2014 marked the second Dublin Beatles Festival and to celebrate the occasion the organisers hosted a very special screening of Beatles parody movie "The Rutles".
