The Rehab chairman says he 'wouldn't dream of saying no' if called to appear before the Oireachtas spending watchdog.
Former chief executive Angela Kerins refused to appear at the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) earlier this year amid controversy over the finances of the organisation.
Rehab is currently recruiting her replacement, with a remuneration package worth €100,000 less than Ms Kerins had been earning.
The Rehab group unveiled a new board yesterday afternoon, replacing all but three of the previous members and pledging to improve levels of transparency.
It announced the change at its annual general meeting - with the appointment of 16 people, 13 of whom are new appointees. The group says all of them will serve in a voluntary and unpaid capacity.
Rehab also announced reforms aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and oversight of the board.
Meanwhile Rehab says the process to appoint a new CEO is "well advanced with strong candidates emerging" and they hope to be in a position to make an announcement on this in early October.
Chairman Sean Egan told the Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk he believes that if there are difficult question to be answered, they must be faced up to.
