Pro-Choice campaigners say gardaí would be "foolish" to stop them giving out illegal abortion advice.
Activists will deliberately break the law on Friday when they tour the country on board a bus telling women how to access terminations in Ireland and putting them in touch with doctors who are willing to prescribe abortion pills.
But those on board the "Abortion Bus" claim they are doing a public service.
The bus will travel to Galway and Limerick on Friday, and Cork on Saturday.
Women can come to the bus to consult a doctor on the web.
Diana O’Dwyer from ROSA, the group organising the bus, says they have heard reports that some demonstrations are being planned against what they are doing:

Anti Austerity Alliance and Socialist Party TD Ruth Coppinger, who set up ROSA, also spoke to Newstalk's Pat Kenny Show about the event:
Deputy Coppinger said it was not compatible for a country who recently legalised gay marriage to outlaw abortions and predicted a referendum on the issue will have to be held within the next two years.
She said the medicine being given out is listed by the World Health Organisation as an essential medication.
