It is day five of the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.

So far the medal haul for Team Ireland stands at 22.

There are 88 Irish among the 7,000 athletes competing from 177 countries.

While today in Los Angeles at the convention centre, a gold medal was won in bocce by Peter Maylnn (57) from Mullingar.
