Ben Gilroy stood for election in March’s Meath By Election, securing a total of 1,793 votes and finishing ahead of Labour candidate Eoin Holmes.
Gilroy joined Pat on Wednesday’s show and discussed bank debt, oil and gas reserves, voting systems and the aims of Direct Democracy. Gilroy’s appearance got a big, and strong, response from listeners.
