Most Irish people have been lucky enough to experience the thrill and exhilaration of watching players donning their county colours line out on the hallowed grounds of Croke Park to play their hearts out in hopes of bringing home coveted silverware.
There is no doubt that there is something special about Croker for every GAA fan but it holds a special significance for the rock family who Pat recently met with in Croke Park.
Joe Rock is not only part of a Gaelic football density but he has called Croke Park his office for over 80 years.
His nephew Barney Rock is a former Dublin player and Westmeath manager.
