A man has been jailed for 30 years for murdering his estranged Northern Irish wife in Australia.
Christopher Cullen was jailed for killing Victoria Comrie-Cullen (39) in January 2014.
Mrs Comrie-Cullen was originally from Bangor in Co Down.
The pair had been married for about 10 years before their marriage deteriorated, separating in October 2013.
The court heard that Mr Cullen did not take the separation well, suspecting his former wife was in a new relationship.
They were also involved in civil court matters over things they owned together.
On January 22nd last year, a man came across the body of Mrs Comrie-Cullen.
Chief court reporter for Sydney's Daily Telegraph is Amy Dale.
She told the Pat Kenny Show here on Newstalk Mr Cullen did not express remorse during the trial.
