American horror director, Scott Derrickson, responsible for movies Sinister, The Last Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Day the Earth Stood Still, joins us on the show this evening to discuss his new release Deliver Us From Evil. The story involves a New York police officer, Ralph Sarchie, who joins forces with an unconventional priest, schooled in the rites of exorcism, to combat the possessions that are terrorizing their city. Deliver Us From Evil is showing in Irish cinemas now.

We also speak to director and writer of new comedy/drama Obvious Child. It's the story of a twenty-something comedienne's unplanned pregnancy and follows her decision to have an abortion. American comedy actress Jenny Slate plays the lead and you can see Obvious Child in Irish cinemas from August 29th.
