As their new movie Burnt hits screens, stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller joined Philip Molloy to talk about shucking oysters, working in a busy kitchen and the gender pay-gap in the acting world.
The movie tells the story of a chef who is looking for redemption after battling his personal demons, and once again sees Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller teaming up to work on a project together, after the success of American Sniper.
Philip highlighted that Cooper has a tendency to work with actors several times, including names such as Robert De Niro, David O. Russell, and Jennifer Lawrence, but he stated he was "lucky to work with any of them more than once" rather than it being a particular policy of his.
The topic of conversation also turned towards the stage work that both actors had been involved in recently, and while they both stated they have a real love of it, Miller recently walked away from a Broadway project over a pay dispute.
There have been a number of headlines as a result of the recent highlighting of the pay-gap between male and female actors, and Miller revealed that had been at the root of the issue: "it was more that they offered less than half what he was getting, and it was just the two of us.
"We were on stage for the exact same amount of time and I imagine that I would have had to do the same if not more press in terms of promotion and I just felt pretty confident that if it had been two men it would have been a pretty different situation".
