Things are tense and a little too close to home in the first official trailer for the sixth season of the US espionage series Homeland. Set during the “most difficult transfer of power in history” as a new US President-elect awaits her inauguration.
Taking place a few months after the Berlin-based fifth run, Carrie (Claire Danes) is back on US soil and working in Brooklyn at a foundation that provided aid to Muslims living in America. The three-minute trailer shows us Carrie still isn’t afraid of butting heads to get the job done, that Saul still gets kidnapped more frequently than an intelligence officer really should, and the return of a character who wasn’t doing so well when we last saw him...
