Not quite sure of what the best picks of the box are for this week? Or will you regret that you didn't record something when all of a sudden it's the talk of the town?

Fear not, the Tom Dunne Show has you covered.

Sue Murphy joined Tom to pick out the best of the box for the week ahead. You can find a link to the full podcast at the bottom of the page.

Picks of the week

Versailles, Wednesday, BBC2, 9.30pm

The new period drama that's making headlines before it's even aired. It tells the story of 28 year old Louis XIV and his the construction of Versailles, the golden prison which would allow him to impose his absolute power. Lot's of raunchy scenes in this, and the French are laughing at the 'stuffy' English for kicking up such a fuss about why it's being aired so early on television.

UKs Best Part Time Band, Friday, BBC4, 9pm

Join comedian Rhod Gilbert, Ultravox front-man Midge Ure, former New Order and Joy Division bassist Peter Hook and more special guests as they travel across England, Scotland and Wales in their bid to find the UK’s Best Part-time Band.

Euro 88 - We Can Beat This Lot, RTE1, Tuesday, 7pm

The first of two programmes which take a look back on our history in the UEFA European Championships, from our qualification in '87 through the last group match in which we were knocked out by champions-to-be the Netherlands. Regardless, it was a tournament of great excitement and importance for the fans, and a perfect set up for Italia '90.

Online pick of the week

Lady Dynamite, Netflix

This new 12-episode comedy series from Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development) and Pam Brady (South Park) is a surreal, semi-autobiographical take on the life of comedian-actress Maria Bamford, and it's been receiving rave reviews so far.

Film of the week

Man on Wire, Wednesday, Film4, 11.15pm

This documentary tells the story of a 24-year-old French high-wire artist named Philippe Petit, who on August 7, 1974, gave an acrobatic performance on a cable that hung between the Twin Towers, before handing himself into police. It's been described as "the artistic crime of the century".
