It's the most wonderful time of the year! Well technically it is but we all know that it can get more than a little stressful trying to plan your TV schedule over the next few days.
First of all, we would probably suggest utilising your recording features to the full potential as there are quite a few shows on at the same time that are definitely worth a watch.
Here are some of the best TV picks for Christmas Eve.
1. Finding Nemo, BBC One, 3.50pm
It's easily one of the nicest Pixar films you will ever see and what better time to appreciate nice animation and the family around you than on Christmas Eve.
Just keep swimming.
2. Jamie's Night Before Christmas, Channel 4, 7pm
Well, the cheffing genius returns and continues to manage to make food miracles out of nothing. Yes, he's the cheffing McGyver.
Jamie is using the results of a survey to make meals out of what people will have in their Christmas cupboards. Delicious.
3. The ABBA Christmas Party, ITV, 8.30pm
Yes ABBA and Christmas. It works, ok?
It seems that 32 years after they split up, Abba are more popular than ever. To celebrate their music, Paddy McGuinness hosts a festive party like no other, in which music and TV stars perform the Swedish band's greatest hits.
4. Through the Christmas Keyhole, ITV, 9.45pm
Don't judge us but this will totally be worth it... Keith Lemon returns for the show's third festive special, getting in the festive spirit as he rummages around three more homes of the rich and famous. Presenter Stephen Mulhern, Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman and funnyman Jimmy Carr try to guess who has been stupid enough to hand over their keys to Keith.
5. Gravity, RTÉ One, 9.45pm
Sandra Bullock stars in one of the most terrifying films of all time (it should actually be listed as a horror). A woman who loses her crewmate in space and goes on a mission for survival was listed as one of the best films from last year. It may not translate as much to the small screen, but it still works.
