On tonight's show Oisin Davis recreates the Pink Lady cocktail from 'Topper', the classic 1937 movie with Cary Grant and Constance Bennett.

Oisin says, "The plot behind the movie Topper sounds a little bizarre on paper. A dead couple haunt their mate into having more craic in his life. But it was a huge success and spawned 2 sequels. An integral part of it's charm is the jolliness of the drinks they all enjoy. And one of them is the "Pink Lady" which was the quintessential cocktail of the time for the fairly large amount of American females who were unapologetic party goers. And they had good reason to celebrate. They had recently repealed the prohibition and could thankfully enjoy alcohol without fear of fine or imprisonment. That also meant they no longer had to endure gut rot inducing bath tub spirits and could enjoy gin based cocktails once again. Like the perfectly named Pink Lady".
