This week Oisin Davis, of Great Irish Beverages, makes a special Tequila Hot Toddy. Oisin says, 'There are few things in life that are more comforting than a spicy hot toddy. And the great thing about them is, as long as it's relatively cold outside you have the perfect excuse to enjoy a nice gargle. That's why you can get away with having them from October to March in Ireland, which is pretty much half the year. 

Hot toddies need not be confined to whiskey though. Check out this one made with tequila...

INGREDIENTS:

50 ml Patron
1/2 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon agave
1 lemon wedge studded with cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Hot water

METHOD:

Place all ingredients in a hot toddy glass and stir to combine. Let it sit for 1 minute before drinking.
