As always on a Thursday, Oisin Davis from Great Irish Beverages will be live on the Tom Dunne Show to make another smashing cocktail. It's the last week of our Euro 2016 cocktail season, so tonight we celebrate one of this year's deserved finalists, Portugal.
Oisin says:
Love him or loathe him, Ronaldo's header last night was whopper! And even though I was rooting for Wales, that was a wicked goal. Portugal are into the final so I think it's only fair that we should show some respect for them by making a port cocktail.
This one uses Croft Pink Port, a very old brand that is made in the Douro Valley. It's a very sessionable punch that's super simple to make. And you can actually find it in the latest issue of Uncorked, Supervalu's free in store drinks magazine!
Ingredients:
- 1 part Croft Pink port
- 1/2 part pomegranate juice
- 1/2 part dry prosecco
- 1 part lemonade
Method:
Place all ingredients in a jug with some ice and stir. Garnish with some fresh pomegranate seeds, whole raspberries and lime slices.
