On tonight's show Oisin Davis, of Great Irish Beverages, makes a Scandinavian special - the Sona Punch.
Oisin says: 'With the Dublin Cocktail Festival very nearly upon us, I thought I'd look at what one of the thirty six venues is doing for the week. Every venue has to create and sell a cocktail that features an Irish spirit or liqueur. The offering from Soder + Ko I thought was interesting as it contains Jameson Black and some spicy Swedish punch, which is reflective of the Scandinavian food they offer".
SONA PUNCH
Ingredients
Sona Punch
60 ml Jameson Black Barrel
20 ml Swedish Punsch
15 ml Chesnut Syrup
20 ml Fresh Lemon
20ml Whites
60 ml Pear Puree
A few drops of Aphrodite bitters
Method
Chill a tumbler with some ice. Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice, seal it and shake hard for 20 seconds. Remove ice from glass and strain.
