Tonight, Chris Crowley from Sophie's at the Dean Hotel will be paying saluting Euro 2016 hosts France by demonstrating how to make a French 75.

Chris Says:

The French 75 gained popularity in Harry's Bar in Paris around the 1920's. It's a mix of Gin, Lemon Juice, Sugar and Champagne. The recipe as we know it was first recorded in 1922 in 'Harry's ABC of mixing cocktails'. It gained popularity in New York in the Stork Club. It has also been featured in a few movies. Most notably in Casablanca and also in John Wayne’s 'A Man Betrayed'.
