The Tom Dunne Show is on the way to the City of the Tribes tonight, for a really special show celebrating the Galway International Arts Festival.

 

Every year, the most diverse Irish Arts festival features the very best in music, arts, literature and performance from around the globe, and this year is no exception.  We'll be joined by some of the best performers at the festival in the glamorous surroundings of the G Hotel.

 

We'll be joined by the men behind the centerpiece of this years festival, 'Ballyturk', one of the fastest-selling shows in the festival's 37-year history.  Playwright Enda Walsh and actor Mikel Murfi will pop in to tell us all about it.

 

We'll have live music from Oklahoma singer Samantha Crain, comedy with Foil, Arms & Hog, Gerry Mallon and Eleanor Tiernan.

 

We'll also be checking in with our Galway buddies, musician Sharon Shannon and Hector Ó hEochagáin.
