Henry Rollins joined Tom Dunne on Tuesday night. Rollins is possibly best known as the frontman of 1980's hardcore punk band Black Flag.

Rollins responded to questions relating to his recent interview in Mojo.

"One day years ago I realised I didn't have any more lyrics to write. At this point it is such a foreign writing form to me, I don't know...if I could even write you a song," said Rollins.

Rollins doesn't even describe himself as a musician.

"I just wanted to be in a band to get a beat behind me so I could yell these things I wanted to say," he explained. Unsurprisingly then, Rollins does a lot of spoken word work.

"I said, 'well if I can't do new music then I'm not going to stand around like one of those people who do old music'".

Rollins plans to perform his spoken word in Ireland in early 2016.
