He’s probably Britain’s best known and loved performance poet. He gained notoriety when he toured with bands like the Sex Pistols and the Clash in the 70’s and became viewed as a voice for the punk movement.
He’s still as relevant as ever - working as a DJ and broadcaster and averaging about 100 tour dates worldwide each year!
He talked to Tom about working with Alex Turner and the Arctic Monkeys, his love for Flann O'Brien and what it's like to be featured on the school curriculum.
