In this special episode, Tom meets musician Joan As Policewoman in New York for Back to Mine.
Tom met Joan on a sunny afternoon in her neighbourhood coffee shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Joan talked about how the area has become a haven for artists and musicians, as life in the city becomes more expensive. She also talked about her new album 'The Classic', working with musicians like Anthony Hegarty, and about her relationship with the late, great Lou Reed.
'He was someone really dear to my heart' she says. 'When I first met him, I was just in awe of the fact that this person was near me. At the start, I tried to stay out of his way as he had a certain reputation. I felt like he didn't let people in very easily as he didn't have much of a filter. He was one of the most sensitive people on earth.'
