Luke Haines has been making music under many guises over the past 30 years. Many listeners will be familiar with him as the frontman of The Auteurs.  He's just released a new solo album, ‘New York in the 70s’.  

He joined Tom to talk about the absurdity of Britpop, how he developed a love for prog and his new opera about The Fall's Mark E. Smith.
