American singer-songwriter Natalie Prass joined Tom Dunne on Wednesday night for a session and interview. The singer is currently supporting Ryan Adams on tour.
Prass, whose eponymous debut album was released a month ago, explained the role of her father in her musical biography.
"He's why I write songs today. When he was home he would sometimes play guitar and I was always really captivated".
Moving to Nashville in Tennessee was also a major milestone in Prass's development as a musician. She described it as an extremely competitive musical environment to be in.
"That's what I wanted...there are so many people doing it. I mean, everyone plays music there," she explained.
