On tonight's show Tom is joined by Caitlin Doughty, a mortician who has written a new book entitled Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Other Lessons from the Crematory. Doughty's You Tube channel 'Ask a Mortician' is a viral sensation. Doughty will be on hand to answer Tom's questions about mortuary school, her obsession with death and what exactly constitutes a 'good day at the office' for a mortician. 

Sue Murphy also drops into studio to look ahead at the best television of the week, including a peek at the new series of W1A, the satire starring Hugh Bonneville set within the BBC. 

Sufjan Stevens today announced that he will play The Helix, Dublin on August 28th and 29th, as part of his European Tour. Tom will be giving away a pair of tickets each night of the show this week.
