On tonight's show Tom is joined by Guardian writer and author Hadley Freeman, who discusses her new book Life Moves Pretty Fast. The book takes a fresh approach to appraising the movies of the '80s. Hadley is adamant that the films of that particular decade are the very best ever made and are indeed far superior to today's releases. Through an analysis of classics such as Back to the Future and Dirty Dancing, the author makes the case that the lessons to be learned from these movies are important and life changing.
Director Mike Fleiss also joins Tom to chat about his new documentary The Other One: the Long Strange Trip of Bob Weir, his latest work which focuses on American band the Grateful Dead.
For all this, and some great music to boot, tune in from 10pm!
