Waterboys frontman Mike Scott joins Tom Dunne on tonight's show to discuss the band's latest album Modern Blues.  Mike talks about the experience of recording in Nashville with veteran American session musicians.

We'll also be joined by Malcolm Middleton, familiar to many by his work with Aidan Moffatt in Arab Strap.  For his latest project he's teamed up with Turner nominated artist David Shrigley.  Together they've made a dark, surreal and frequently hilarious album Words and Music.  Tune in to hear how this unusual project came about.
