Tim Burgess, lead singer of English band The Charlatans, joined Tom Dunne on Tuesday night to discuss the group's latest album Modern Nature.
Burgess has quit the drink and appears to be benefiting form the sobriety.
'I'm inherently positive and a dreamer, determined and focused," he says.
Burgess keeps himself busy. Not only has he released the new album with the band but he has also written a book and made a solo record over the past few years also.
Like a number of other musicians, including Cathal Smyth, Burgess is a practicioner of transcendental meditation.
"If you want to get a lot done and if you want to destress and dip into a creative pool...it's the way forward. For me it's an incredible thing," he says.
