Did you miss the Tom Dunne show this week?
Don't worry, we've rounded up some highlights so you can catch up.
On Monday Sinead 'The Boss' O'Connor came into studio to share her favourite pre-gig songs. Sinead uses a special playlist before every show to get her mentally ready to perform, including reggae, mantras and old fashioned rock n'roll.
Listen to the fascinating interview here.
On Tuesday Obaro Ejimiwe, better known as Ghostpoet swung by Newstalk for a chat with Tom about his great new album Shedding Skin, Mercury nominations and designer dogs.
Listen back here.
If you've been listening to the show in recent times you'll have heard Tom playing tracks from Ozzie singer Courtney Barnett's album Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit.
Courtney paid us a visit this week and the result is one of our favourite live music sessions.
You can listen to it here.
On Thursday, we regretfully bid farewell to our good friend George Byrne who passed away last week.
George was an integral part of the Newstalk team, providing enthusiasm, laughs and bullshit-free movie reviews for many years.
A selection of George's good friends joined us in studio to give him a proper send off - Declan Lynch of The Sunday Independent, Ken Sweeney of The Irish Sun, comedy writer Arthur Matthews. Paul Cleary of The Blades provided the music and Oísin Davis of Great Irish Beverages provided the drinks for a final toast to George.
You can listen to the tribute here.
Rest in peace George.
The Tom Dunne Show on Newstalk, Monday - Thursday from 10pm.
