Tonight on RTE 1 tonight, 'Veronica Guerin - A Legacy' airs in the return of the series which profiles some of Ireland's most important figures, and Thursday see's the premiere of 'The Road to Rio' on RTE 2, capturing the preparation of some Irish athletes ahead of this year's Olympics.
BBC 2 launches 'Old School with the Hairy Bikers' tomorrow, pairing 12 teenagers with 12 pensioners to investigate their interactions, and 'Horizon' will explore a new era of Alzheimer's research on Thursday.
Of course, we haven't forgotten about the Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week, so Tom and Sue will be taking a look at that too.
In the second hour, Tom will be joined by one of the world's foremost expert on the Byrds, Johnny Rogan. He'll be on the show to talk about Byrds singer and founding member Gene Clark, ahead of a special Gene Clark tribute concert later this month.
In aid of the Simon Community, Rogan will join some of Dublin’s finest musicians including Anderson, Peter Smith from the Urges, Ross Hamer from Jetsetter, and David Tapley of Tandem Felix, to pay tribute to Clark on the 25th anniversary of his death.
‘No Other: A Celebration of Gene Clark’ takes place in the MPV in Dublin on the 24th of May, and tickets are €12.
