Coming up on the show tonight, musician, poet and author Julian cope will be joining Tom just after 9pm to talk about his latest creation, the worlds first psychic rock'n'roll festival: SydArthur Festival.
The 7th of July marked the 10th anniversary of the death of Syd Barrett, and the 3rd of August is the 10th anniversary of the death of Arthur Lee.
In the lunar month that falls between these two dates, Julian, his wife Dorian and his daughter Avalon have created a programme of activities in which people are asked to cerebrate important people and events in psychedelic history.
"No pricey tickets, no camping like sardines in some infernal swamp. For those of you who choose to engage in these proceedings, you may do so from your own homes, your favourite areas, but most specifically from within your own minds".
In the second hour, Tom will be joined by artistic director of the Galway International Arts Festival, Paul Fahy, to take a look at some of the highlights for the next 2 weeks.
This Thursday from 8.30pm, playwright Enda Walsh will be discussing his favourite album with Tom at the Festival Club in Galway, where we'll be broadcasting live. Tickets for the event are available here.
