Kicking off the first hour of tonight’s show, Tom speaks to Donal Gallagher, brother of legendary Irish musician Rory Gallagher, about a new release of the Donegal-born man’s work with his first band, Taste.
A new 4 CD box-set, ‘Taste – I’ll Remember’, features the band’s first two albums 1969’s self-titled debut and 1970’s On The Boards), live tracks, demo versions, previously unavailable songs, images, and text.
Rory Gallagher fans should tune in for something special also.
Later tonight in the second hour, music writer Graeme Thomson will be on to talk all things Kate Bush, as her fifth studio album turns 30 years old.
Graeme originally wrote the book: “Under the Ivy: The Life and Music of Kate Bush”, a biography of the London singer.
